On-site Services

Customized Training at Your Location or at Our Location 

Our educators with 25-35 years of infusion therapy experience are available to provide customized private training, one-on-one precepting, and skill validations, tailored to fit your institution’s needs, clinicians’ knowledge and skills. All training programs are developed according to the current infusion therapy standards of practice, CDC guidelines for catheter-related infection prevention, and best evidenced-based practice.

Facilities may enhance learning experience through the hands-on practice with specific equipment being used at your facility.

Requirements for On-site Training:

  • Schedule the program minimum 45 days in advance. Flexible dates and times are available including Saturdays
  • Registration fee remains the same. Checkout the Fees. Partial non-refundable payment is required to confirm the date and arrange educator’s travel plans. Full payment 15 days prior to the Event Date.
  • Minimum 10 attendees or minimum fee for 10 for peripheral IV therapy programs and Home Infusion Nursing certificate programs.
  • Minimum 5 attendees or minimum fee for 5 for Midline Insertion Training and PICC Line Insertion Training
  • One educator’s travel expense paid by the requesting facility and additional educators’ (if required) is paid by ITI
  • Preceptor student ratio for all peripheral IV Therapy and home nursing are 1:10 and the Midline and PICC Line insertion training ratio is 1:5

Customized Private Training at Our Location: 

Organizations with 5-10 attendees may request private training at our location in Des Plaines, Illinois

  • Schedule the program minimum 30-45 days in advance
  • Flexible dates and times including Saturdays
  • Registration fee remains the same. Checkout the Fees.  Register and pay minimum payment 15 days prior to the Event Date
  • Minimum 5 attendees  for peripheral IV therapy programs and Home Infusion Nursing certificate programs; and  minimum 3 attendees Midline and PICC Line Insertion Training
  • No travel expense
  • Preceptor student ratio for all peripheral IV Therapy and home nursing are 1:10 and the Midline and PICC Line insertion training ratio is 1:5

Organizations May Become Our Education Partner

Facilities wishing to have on-site training and avoid educator’s travel expenses may host our IV infusion therapy training programs at their location.  Facility provides a classroom for upto 20 attendees. We will invite additional attendees from other facilities to cover our expenses.

  • Schedule the program minimum 45 days in advance. Flexible dates including Saturdays
  • Registration fee remains the same. Checkout the Fees
  • Register and pay minimum 8 attendees for peripheral IV therapy programs and Home Infusion Nursing certificate program; and 4 attendees for Midline and PICC Line Insertion Training
  • No travel expense paid by the requesting organization
  • Preceptor student ratio for all peripheral IV Therapy and home nursing are 1:10 and the Midline and PICC Line insertion training ratio is 1:5

  • Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN)  Administration
  • Management of Implanted Venous Access Port (Port-a-cath) Accessing and De-accessing (With Skill Validation)
