PICC Insertion Training for Clinicians with Ultrasound Experience

This 1-day PICC insertion training is geared to clinicians that feel comfortable using an ultrasound to locate and accessing vessels. Licensed independent practitioners.(LIPs), RNs, RTs and other clinicians are welcome to participate in this class. The training focuses on ultrasound guided PICC insertion by modified Seldinger technique (MST). This program is developed according to globally recognized infusion therapy standards of practice.  

Upon successful completion attendees obtain a certificate of completion. Clinicians may commence PICC and midline insertion according to their scope of practice. Supervised insertions and competency validation are recommended.
